This applet displays Level II quotes for securities traded on the Over-the-Counter Bulliten Board (OTC BB) system. Quotes are delayed 20 minutes. Level II data can be used as a tool for judging the "depth" of the market for particular security. The applet will display all the bid and offer prices from every market maker in a particular stock and update these prices every ten seconds. The prices on the Level II display are separated by color to provide an easy, visual way to separate price levels.

Unlike traditional bid/ask quotes, Level II provides a complete picture of the supply and demand for a stock. Unfortunately market makers in OTC BB securities are not required to list the size (or amount) of shares they are wishing to buy or sell. As a result, you will commonly see market makers listing the bid/ask size as 500 or 5000.
